Every club will be looking to build momentum with the hectic Christmas period just around the corner. Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool all face opponents who caused them trouble in 2008/09. Arsenal host Hull, who beat the Gunners 2-1 in 2008's league meeting at the Emirates while Manchester United visit a Fulham side who beat them 2-0 at Craven Cottage earlier in 2009. Liverpool are at Portsmouth, where last time they scraped a 3-2 victory thanks to two goals in the last five minutes.
