Linden and Holly prepare for Christmas when an old friend arrives, forcing Linden to face his long-standing feelings of guilt over the death of his wife.
Linden is forced to face the past at Christmas when his priest and mentor, Father Logan, is brought onto the ward. Linden relives the horrors of the day his wife, Olivia, died in a car crash. Only Holly can help him get over the guilt he has felt for the past nine years.
After Donna has helped solve the mystery of a dying mother's missing daughter, she is hoping all her friends will turn up for the Christmas charity event she has arranged at Albie's Bar.
Meanwhile, Michael enlists the help of Oliver and Maria to clear the wards of patients for Christmas.
