Presented by Petroc Trelawny. In a performance from St Giles', Cripplegate in London, David Hill conducts the 大象传媒 Singers in music by Widor, Tavener and Jean Langlais.

St Giles' Church, in London's Barbican, is one of only a few such places in this country which can boast two complete and well-equipped organs in the same building - unlike some Continental countries, especially France, where it's much more common. In this live Performance on 3, the 大象传媒 Singers and David Hill explore some of the sacred repertoire which makes use of these musical resources - including two splendidly exuberant settings of the mass by French composers, Arvo Part's setting of a plainsong hymn, and the first performance of a new piece by 大象传媒 Singers' new Associate Composer, Gabriel Jackson. In addition, solo works for two organs by two 20th-century masters of the instrument, and motets for double choir. Presented by Petroc Trelawny.
