The first Half-Time Hooter of the Week has sounded. Alex is back with human water-bomb, Adrian the First H2O-masapien, more oddball conversation and surprising music choices.

It's Wednesday which means it is time for the first Half-Time Hooter. Alex returns with the human water bomb experiment that is Adrian, the First H20-masapien. He can carry his goldfish with him and pour his body out of his clothes when he wants to get changed, but should he do a parachute jump and pass through a cloud he may land in the form of light rain. Morten Harket's Gap in the Market's sister shop, Pal Waaktaar's Rival Bazaar, is now facing stiff competition from another new shop on Buffoon High Street. This time, the remaining member of a-ha is getting in on the act and opening Magne Furuholmen's Shop to Roam In, which specialises in novelties endorsed only by news readers and weather reporters. We edge nearer to that special day and Alex reveals his plans for Valentine's Day - The Alex Lester Way. Classic rock from Kansas selected from the Listener's Library, while Benny Goodman and Show of Hands are chosen from Lester's Library. More from Album of the Week from Owl City, another play of Record of the Week from Johnny Cash and Mark Ford has a Pause for Thought. Buffoons are go!
