Steve offers a brand new band the chance to sing their own praises in 6 Music Unsigned, plus he speaks to a student radio DJ about what's on their playlist.

It's a busy programme on Friday as Lammo wraps up the week with some brilliant music to get the weekend started. Friday also sees Steve chat with another UK Student Radio Station to find out about their programmes, history and what is rocking their playlist this week. This week we meet the team behind Strathclyde Fusion at the University of Strathclyde. Plus, fresh from his post bag of demos Steve brings us a brand new unsigned band who join us on the phone in 6Music Unsigned to tell us all about their band. Today we meet South London's Melodicy, Melody and Me. All this as well as with the usual Good Day Bad Day caller, another National Anthem story and some brilliant new and classic music get us ready for the weekend quite nicely from the likes of Travis, The Adverts and Pulp
