Russell Davies celebrates the popular song and pays tribute to Sir John Dankworth, who died earlier this month.
Much of this week's programme is in tribute to Sir John Dankworth, who died earlier this month.
Russell was involved in the gala celebration of the Dankworth's concert venue and home, during which the news of Sir John's death was announced, so he is well placed to tell the story. he remembers the influential jazz musician with four numbers from the Dankworth book.
He then moves on to new inductees to the Grammy Hall Of Fame and the remainder of the programme is inspired by listeners' queries.
