DJ Andrew Weatherall takes on electronic duo F Buttons in a 6 Mix Soundclash. The band also discuss how they met, ended up collaborating and play some of their favourite tracks.
Andrew Weatherall returns to 6 Music, taking on experimental electronic duo F Buttons in a 6 Mix Soundclash. F Buttons - who formed at art school in Bristol in 2004 - went on to sign to All Tomorrow's Parties records and released their critically acclaimed second album 'Tarot Sport at the end of 2009. The album was produced by Weatherall, who has also worked with Primal Scream as well as carving out a reputation as one of the most in demand techno DJs in the word. In this special show they discuss how they met and ended up collaborating, as well as playing the music which influenced the record from experimental techno to electro pop. There's also a hot new dubplate direct from Weatherall's 'Rotters Golf Club' studio.
