Defending Premier League champions Manchester United host a Liverpool side fighting to finish in the top four and clinch Champions League qualification. United will need Wayne Rooney to continue his career-best form as they attempt to end a run of three successive defeats against Rafa Benitez's Reds.
Chelsea were involved in knockout competition against their former boss Jose Mourinho and his Inter Milan side in midweek, but switch their attention from the Champions League to the Premier League with a tricky visit to Blackburn. Elsewhere in the north west, Wigan face Burnley in a relegation encounter.
