MasterChef: The Final Three

Cookery challenge. It's the penultimate test for the three finalists, as they cope with taking over a top London restaurant on a busy Friday night, and cook for chef Alain Ducasse.

Top chef and restaurateur John Torode, and food writer and ingredients expert Gregg Wallace continue their search for the country's best amateur cook.

It's the penultimate test for the three MasterChef finalists. They must face two of the most daunting challenges ever undertaken by amateur chefs. Firstly they take over a top London restaurant on a busy Friday night, creating their own menus and then cooking the dishes for the discerning paying public. Will they get the orders in for their dishes, and can they cope with running a kitchen and producing top quality food for over 70 diners?

Then they face their most terrifying challenge yet - cooking for the one of the greatest living chefs in the world, the legendary Alain Ducasse. They will have to recreate one of his iconic dishes and then serve it to the man himself, as well as five of his award winning proteges. Will the finalists be able to deliver to a high enough standard to impress these chefs who between them hold an incredible thirty Michelin stars.
