German leaders have said they will speed up the approval of a Greek rescue package, a survey shows how businesses across the globe are recovering and HP has bought Palm for $1.2bn.
German leaders have said they will speed up the approval of a 45 billion euro rescue package ( 拢39bn) for Greece after an emergency visit from the head of the International Monetary Fund and the European Central Bank yesterday. Public sector employers have turned negative on hiring new workers but the private sector has become more optimistic. We look at a survey which shows how businesses across the globe are recovering. Finally, Hewlett Packard has bought Palm, famous for its hand held Palm Pilot device, for $1.2 billion.
