Comedian Bill Hicks never received wider recognition in his lifetime, but 16 years on from his death he's often cited as an inspiration by today's comedians. Matt Harlock and Paul Thomas talk about their new documentary film American: The Bill Hicks Story which promises to introduce him to a mainstream audience.

Robin Hood, directed by Ridley Scott, is the big film release of the week, with Russell Crowe in the starring role. But exactly what accent does he adopt in the film? Mark and Simon chat to Front Row's Mark Lawson about the challenges of interviewing the Hollywood star.
