Nigel Ogden presents a programme of popular organ recordings with some entertaining pieces from the organ world.
Request Programme
On tonight's programme we sort through the bulging request bag to hear some of the instruments, players and pieces of music you've asked to hear more from. First up is the 3 manual Compton of the Cinema Organ Society which was installed in St. Martin's school in Solihul and now resides in Fentham Hall in Hampton-in-Arden. There's also a selection of the great Wurlitzer's based across the Atlantic in America. Rounding off with the Grand five manual Willis organ of Liverpool Cathedral played by Professor Ian Tracey.
