Should the UK follow New Zealand and ban the ritual slaughter of animals? Plus Nihal plays Guess the Story with three studio guests.

At 1, Should the UK follow New Zealand's lead and ban ritual slaughter?

There's a huge stink being kicked up in New Zealand because the Government has totally banned the ritual slaughter of animals unless they have been stunned first.

While some Muslims accept that halal meat can been stunned before the slaughter, many others don't. There were recently protests by the Lancashire Council of Mosques who objected to KFC stunning their meat before slughter and then advetrtising it as Halal. But do you think it's time for religious practices to adapt to modern methods of slaughter? Do you agree with ritualistic slaughter? Or should all animals be stunned?
