Nigel Ogden presents a programme of popular organ recordings with some entertaining pieces from the organ world.
The programme concentrates on the hughly popular Hammond organ sound. Performances include Jerry Allen with The Beatles' A Hard Day's Night; Klaus Wunderlich with Scarborough Fair/Spinning Wheel; George Blackmore with Guantanamera/Sweet and Gentle; and Michael Parkinson's former musical director, Harry Stoneham, with On A Clear Day.
