Led by former star player Diego Maradona, Argentina are hoping to lift the trophy for the first time since 1986. Maradona's men will know better than to underestimate South Korea, who eliminated both Italy and Spain eight years ago.

France were finalists in 2006, but were poor in qualifying so Mexico coach Javier Aguirre may fancy his chances of claiming a famous scalp.

Greece surprised many by becoming European champions in 2004. Otto Rehhagel's side are again looking to upset the odds in South Africa, but Nigeria will be tricky opponents.
