Professor Noam Chomsky on the Palestinian question, the economy and President Obama's foreign policy.

Professor Noam Chomsky has become almost better known for his political dissidence and for taking strong positions to the left of nearly all mainstream American politicians.

In his latest brush with officialdom Chomsky was barred by Israeli border guards last month on his way to lecture to mainly Palestinian students at Birzeit university in the West Bank.

In his office at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) he speaks to Rhod about the Palestinian question, the economy and President Obama's foreign policy - starting with the sudden recall of General McChrystal.
