How often have you heard phrases like 'there aren't enough hours in the day', 'where does the time go', 'time waits for no man' and, as far as radio and TV programmes are concerned, it's not unusual to hear things like 'the clock has beaten us once again' or 'I'm afraid that's all we've time for this week' - in fact, you'll probably hear something like that at the end of tonights programme.
