Leading lute player Elizabeth Kenny and soprano Sophie Daneman celebrate early music plus Christophe Rousset, conductor of baroque orchestra Les Talens Lyriques.

One of the UK's foremost lute players Elizabeth Kenny directs and soprano Sophie Daneman will be performing in John Blow's Venus and Adonis at the York Early Music Festival on the 17th of July.
Verdi's classic opera 'La Traviata' opens at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden on the 8th of July and runs until the 17th. Tenor James Valenti joins Sean Rafferty to discuss the latest production.
Fine baroque orchestra Les Talens Lyriques and distinctive mezzo-soprano Vivica Genaux will be putting on a concert of Handel's Semele at the Barbican on the 8th of July with soprano Danielle de Niese. Les Talens Lyriques' conductor Christophe Rousset and Vivica Genaux will be in the studio.
