Consumer series with Lucy and Rhodri Owen. In SOS, we hear how motorbiker Carol Evans from Pembrokeshire almost died after biting into an apple and encountering a wasp.
The prospect of thousands of overseas visitors looking for accommodation in South Wales during the Ryder Cup tempted thousands of homeowners to register their properties on accommodation websites set up specially for the event. But although they were advised by some agencies to ask for over 10,000 pounds for a week's rental for their homes, many hopeful clients haven't received any enquiries about their properties. Rachel Treadaway-Williams investigates whether the hype created false hope and why the websites carried on registering properties without warning clients that demand was almost non-existent.
In Story of Survival we hear how motorbiker Carol Evans from Pembrokeshire almost died after biting into an apple and encountering a wasp. Lucy meets Richard Jones, a first responder with St John Ambulance who has some top advice on how to deal with anaphylactic shock.
The red and green specs have gone but suddenly 3D cinema is back in fashion. Audiences are flocking to the latest films, but film critic Gary Slaymaker discovers that some 3D films are actually shot in 2D and converted to 3D during the editing process. Gary meets X-Ray viewer Allan Haskins who has been disappointed with the quality of some films and thinks that consumers should be told exactly what to expect.
And in Heol-y-Cyw this week, Rhodri returns to Gareth and Natalie's house to see how they're getting on with their efforts to cut their debt. Debt diva Sue Clay is on hand to check on process and advise on the best way to reach their target.
