As well as the usual serving of music, sport, money and travel, mathematical genius Carol Vorderman joins Simon to perform some intellectual gymnastics.

The nation's favourite mathematician, Carol Vorderman, joins Simon to discuss her latest project. Most famous for her long-running contribution to 'Countdown', Carol is now on a mission to make us all more numerate. She's in the studio after 6 o'clock to explain. Matt Williams speaks to another top name from the world of sport, and brings you the latest from the worlds of football, cricket and rugby. Pauline McCole has her finger firmly on the business pulse, while Sally Boazman returns with the travel news. There's also the usual fix of Confessions, homework, and Three Word Tuesdays. As if that weren't enough, you get to choose a slinky Jazz Showstopper to round off a feast of music.
