Lauren welcomes Midlake into the 6music studios for a live session. The Texan band released their third album The Courage Of Others to great acclaim earlier this year, replacing the 70s rock influences that were heard throughout their previous work with a pastoral folk sound that could have been recorded in medieval England. After headlining The Park stage at this year's Glastonbury festival, the five piece band continue their long association with 6music today.
