New York based pianist and composer Vijay Iyer performs live in a session recorded at the 大象传媒 Maida Vale studios.

He plays tracks from his recent trio album Historicity, his new release Solo, and talks about how he applies his love of mathematics to his music, as well as his wide range of influences including the Indian classical and religious music of his youth.
