Series in which families become Victorian farmers. The Bagley and Booth families compete to be the best Victorian ploughing family.

Series presented by Ben Fogle in which families take up the challenge of becoming Victorian farmers on the Acton Scott Estate in Shropshire. For one week they step back in time to learn the traditional skills of our farming ancestors, competing against each other in daily and weekly challenges: from mucking out the pigs to making a perfect cottage loaf. A host of experts are on hand to judge their handiwork, and the family that wins the most challenges wins that day's prize.

So far the Bagley and Booth families have learnt everything from tyring a wheel to sewing and ironing Victorian style, and now they’re competing to be the best Victorian ploughing family. All week they’ve been learning the skills that they’ll be tested on – mucking out the stables, grooming and tacking up the horses, morris dancing and ploughing a field. Who will win the most challenges and take home the special prize for best Victorian farming family?
