Entertaining you through the night with his inspired daftness and eclectic music choices, it is Alex on The Best Time of the Day Show, including a new Record and Album of the Week.

There's only one way to get through the night with a smile and that's with Alex, AKA The Dark Lord, on The Best Time of the Day Show. It is the second day of National Laundry week, more high-heat horror stories and tell-tale tide-mark tales. There are more amusing revelations in "The Similar Features Feature", in which one person reveals that they cannot tell the difference between Claudia Winkleman and Davina McCall, and another confuses Janice Long...with Alex! The "Carry On" team way of life is tried and tested in, "Carry On Wayward Pun", plus there are more customers allowed into the 4.15 One-Off Canteen, and Pause for Thought at 3.20.
From Lester's Library there is a new track from Rachael Sage, plus some vintage rock from Judas Priest. The Listener's Library track is a punk classic from X-Ray Spex. You can hear Record of the Week from Robert Plant again, and another track from Album of the Week by The Hoosiers.
