Spanish dance troupe Delorean take over the 6 Mix, exploring the roots of their Balearic-tinged electronic music, Based in Barcelona but originally from the Basque area of Spain, the band remixed the XX and Franz Ferdinand before getting signed and releasing the single 'Stay Close' which was a big record for 6 Music earlier this year. In this show, the group talk about their debut album Subiza - hailed by the music press as one of this year's best dance releases - and how they've evolved to recreate that sound live . They also discuss their dance music influences, playing classic house tunes from Mr Fingers and Atlantic Ocean as well as a selection of music old and new from Carly Simon, Prefab Sprout and Ariel Pink.
