23/08/2010 Tippett Quartet, Mitzi Meyerson, Vladimir Ashkenazy

With Petroc Trelawny. With the Tippett Quartet playing Beethoven, Stravinsky and Schubert, plus conversation with harpsichordist Mitzi Meyerson and conductor Vladimir Ashkenazy.

The Tippett Quartet perform works by Beethoven, Stravinsky and Schubert live in the studio ahead of their performance at the Presteigne Festival in St Andrew's Church.

Petroc Trelawny talks to harpsichord player Mitzi Meyerson who has just released the first complete Richard Jones harpsichord works recording ever made.

Vladimir Ashkenazy talks to Petroc about conducting a programme of Richard Strauss, Ravel and Scriabin with the Sydney Symphony in Prom 52 at the Royal Albert Hall.
