Chris kicks off the Bank Holiday weekend in spectacular style, as the programme comes live from a stunning cliff top field in Talland Bay. Richard and Judy are the guests of honour.
It all started innocently enough....Back in June, Chris Evans began musing on how he would like do a show in a field. The next thing we knew, Richard Madeley phoned up proclaiming he had one next to his house in Cornwall - and he was sure the farmer wouldn't mind if Radio 2 pitched up and did the Breakfast show right there! And so it came to pass...
Chris kicks off the Bank Holiday weekend in spectacular style, as the programme comes live from a stunning cliff top field in Talland Bay. Richard and Judy are the guests of honour, and Moira Stuart and Jonny 'Sports' Saunders are also on hand to help referee our School Sports Day Challenge. Live music will provided by the Breakfast show's resident 'house band' Scouting For Girls; and there will be a live audience watching proceedings unfold as well. So join us from 0700 for guaranteed sunshine - whatever the weather.
