Exasperated, Ronnie and Roxy force Sam to look after her own baby. The Mitchell鈥檚 worry about Phil. Jay taunts Phil, Phil pins Jay down and threatens him, then apologises. Phil disappears, Ronnie and Billy worry that he鈥檚 gone in search of drugs. Shirley finds Phil waiting for her in the flat. Initially she鈥檚 hostile. Phil persuades her he needs her and begs her for one last chance. But when Shirley works out that Phil started the Vic fire and wasn鈥檛 going to tell her, she decides she can鈥檛 trust him. Later, Shirley gets a text from Phil; he鈥檚 not going to run anymore. She rushes to the police station and stops him handing himself in. Shirley tells Phil to give a statement - lie to the police. From now on they鈥檙e doing things her way.

Heather鈥檚 happy, until Sam arrives at the flat and asks if she can stay. Sam decides to call her baby Richard, after Ricky - she鈥檚 so sure the baby鈥檚 his. Sam railroads Ricky into taking her back to his house so she can feed the baby. Bianca鈥檚 not happy. Bianca, Ricky, Ronnie and Jack decide they want to do a paternity test. Sam agrees.

Stacey anxiously prepares for a visit from her social worker, Maria. Jean discovers that Stacey hasn鈥檛 picked up her prescription. When Stacey arrives home, Jean confronts her. Stacey鈥檚 agitated and hostile throughout Maria鈥檚 visit. Jean and Charlie insist she鈥檚 just tired and is taking her medication regularly. After Maria leaves, Charlie tells Stacey she has to get back on her pills, for Lily鈥檚 sake.

Pat鈥檚 upset that Peggy left without saying goodbye. Then Billy brings Pat the last orders bell from the Vic, Peggy wants her to have it.
