It's Half-Time Hooter time on The Best Time of the Day Show, which means even more stupidity and top tunes to take you through the night. Album and Record of the Week also.

It's Wednesday, which means it is time for the first Half-Time Hooter of the Week; even more inspired daftness and brilliant music from the Dark Lord himself, Alex Lester. It is Day 3 of our very own talent search, National Hidden Talent Week. We are still people spotting in airports but trying to avoid the man who wants to get into a conversation with anybody who will listen, and the obligatory airport drunk. New for today, we are trying to find the ideal TV vehicle for Shania Twain in 'How Can Shania Twain Entertain?' More Pause for Thought at 3.20am and there is another stampede at the 4.15 One-Off Canteen.
From Lester's Library there is some vintage rock from Deep Purple and a new track from The Driza Bone Soul Family. The Listener's Library track is an album track by Bruce Springsteen. There is another track from Album of the Week by Manic Street Preachers, plus Record of the Week from Elton John and Leon Russell.
