Nigel Ogden presents a programme of popular organ recordings of music by Saint Saens with some entertaining pieces from the organ world.

The Scott Brothers return to the studio to talk about their exciting adaptation of Saint Saens Dance Macabre which ends their recent cd of Harmonium and Piano duets. Nigel Ogden takes this as his cue to feature recordings of other works by the same composer either arranged or written for the organ. He includes music from The Carnival of The Animals, part of the famous Fantasie for Organ in E Flat heard here at Gloucester Cathedral and part of Saint Saens mighty Organ Symphony.
