Teenage Fanclub's early success came simultaneously in the UK and in the USA where they are still at the forefront of the British 'new rock' invasion. They formed in 1990, and before long they were supporting bands such as Primal Scream and The Soup Dragons where their spontaneity and tremendous live performances earned them a devoted following.
