Celtic Comedians

Bruce Morton presents a compilation of Celtic comedians with Phil Kay, Sean Hughes, Ed Byrne, Susan Calman and Rhod Gilbert. Elsewhere there is a special tribute to the late, great Norman Wisdom.

Bruce Morton introduces a compilation of Celtic comedians plus a very special tribute to the late great Norman Wisdom.

In 2005 Sally Magnusson met up with Norman's son Nicholas Wisdom to discuss his life with the comedy legend. Over the course of the programme, Nick Wisdom builds up a profile of the comic genius highlighting both his eccentricity and his humanity. Highlights include Nick's memories of mealtimes with his father, the funny man鈥檚 incredible work ethic and why Norman almost embarrassed the whole family in front of the Queen.

Elsewhere on the Zone there is a compilation of the best Celtic comedians around featuring funny men and woman from Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
