Leeds Rhinos' unprecedented run of success saw them emerge victorious in the last three years, beating St Helens on each occasion.
The 2009 final was a thrilling affair, with Lee Smith's two tries proving to be just enough to see off an unlucky Saints side. Wigan won the League Leaders' Shield for finishing top of the league in the regular season, but as St Helens know more than anyone, that is no guarantee of success when it comes to Grand Final glory.
