Graham Stewart asks if awards add actual value to a business.

Jaison Morgan, founder of The Common Pool, a California-based consulting firm for developing prizes and new incentive models, explains to our reporter Gillian Marles the power behind a prize. He also sits on the Saltire Prize Challenge Committee - the body set-up by the Scottish Government to offer a 拢10 million reward for advances in marine energy.

Robert Muir, sales director of engineering company NuPhalt, tells our reporter Suzanne Allan how winning several Green Business Awards has affected the company.
