The US Federal Reserve is expected to announce an attempt to stimulate the economy with a further round of "Quantitative Easing".
MPs on the home affairs select committee have attacked the government's immigration cap for non-European economic migrants.
According to KPMG, recruitment agencies are placing more people in permanent jobs but the numbers are increasing at their slowest rate for 14 months.
And a delegation of native Alaskan fishermen is visiting the UK to thank jewellers who signed an agreement not to use any of the gold that could come out of Anglo American's Pebble Gold mine in Alaska.
