It's Half-Time Hooter time on The Best Time of the Day Show with Alex which means even more stupidity and top tunes to take you through the night. Album and Record of the Week also.

It's Wednesday which means it is time for the first Half-Time Hooter of the Week; even more inspired daftness and brilliant music from the Dark Lord himself, Alex Lester. This morning, we are taking ideas for how to integrate abandoned Jack-in-the-Boxes back into modern society; our search for the best complainer in the country goes on in "The Exclamation Factor"; plus we are asking, when are you too old to do something? More Pause for Thought with Becky Silver at 3.20am and another batch of lucky people are allowed into the 4.15 One-Off Canteen.

From Lester's Library there is a new track from The Jim Jones Revue, and a duet from Norah Jones and Ray Charles. The Listener's Library track, selected by you, is from Echo and the Bunnymen. You can hear the Record of the Week by Annie Lennox again, and another track from Album of the Week by Neil Diamond. All of this and the first Half-Time Hooter. Twice. All will become clear...ish.
