Is there a glass ceiling for women in the workplace? asks Graham Stewart. Plus, what do the new rules on company pensions mean for businesses?

Is there a glass ceiling for women in the workplace? A survey of leading Scottish businesswomen has found that most believe there is. But is government intervention the best way to create real change in the corporate world? Our business editor Douglas Fraser reports from Oslo, where it's been compulsory for Norwegian companies to appoint a substantial number of women to their management boards since 2008.

Graham Stewart discusses the gender question with three successful businesswomen: Caroline Donaldson, director of Kynesis; Cynthia Guthrie, joint managing director of the Guthrie group; and Laura Sutherland from Aura PR.

Peter Haveron from French Duncan Financial Services in Glasgow explains the changes for us.
