Vicki Blight presents Pulp recorded at the Auto-Festival in 2002. This was the band's final performance, until their recently announced reformation.

Pulp, recorded by 6 Music at Rotherham's Auto Festival in 2002, feature in this week's Classic Concert.

It's amazing to think that Pulp were formed 32 years ago by 15 year old Jarvis Cocker, who did it because he just wanted to be in a band. The band signed to Island Records in 1993, and the following year the release of the Mercury nominated album 'His And Hers' saw their career take off.

Pulp established themselves as one of the UK's most innovative and exciting bands, peerless in the quality of their song-writing and their live performance.

This concert features the line up of Jarvis Cocker, Nick Banks, Candida Doyle, Richard Hawley and Mark Webber, along with bassist Steve Mackay who also organised the festival! This performance was the band's last until their recently announced refromation.

The set includes the classics "Do You Remember The First Time?", "Lip Gloss", "Sorted For Es and Whizz" and "Babies", and is introduced by Vicki Blight.
