Hear from Commonwealth gold medallist Azhur Husain from Pakistan, whose village was submerged in water, but who completed his training and went on to win a gold medal for wrestling.
Throughout the week, on the the Asian Network Language programmes will bring listeners exclusive commissioned reports, where we will hear further stories of those who have suffered, losing their homes and lives and also from those who have survived the floods.
We spotlight Commonwealth Gold Medallist Azhur Husain, who after seeing his village submerged under floodwater, went to Islamabad to continue training, to go on and win the Gold Medal in Wrestling, despite little or no contact with his family.
