When a guilty Ian doesn’t object to Jane taking the day off work, Jane wonders if she should reconsider leaving him. Christian thinks Ian has a guilty conscience. Bianca urges Ian to make an effort to fix his marriage, and Ian swears Glenda to secrecy. Jane is on her way out for a night out with Christian, but Peter tells her that Ian has called, he needs to see her at the Argee Bhajee. Jane arrives at the Argee Bhajee to find Ian has planned a romantic meal, and tells her he wants to buy the place and rename it ‘Jane’s’. Jane is touched. Ian blurts out that he overheard her saying she was going to leave him and begs her to work things out. Jane reveals she knows about Lucy’s abortion, and in a panic, Ian claims he didn’t know about it until it was too late. Disgusted with Ian’s lies, Jane walks out. Upset that her marriage is over, Jane meets an unseen stranger in a café. A hand closes over hers in comfort. We see that it’s Masood.

Yusef comes to the Masoods’ and begs Zainab to reconsider letting Tamwar see Afia. Zainab refuses, she won’t ruin her son’s life too. Masood finds out that Zainab has applied to re-mortgage the house and bid on the Argee Bhajee behind his back. He is furious Zainab has lied to him again, and storms out of the house.

Ryan admits to Janine he was going to see Stacey last night, but after being shut in the fridge, he’s reconsidered his priorities. All Ryan wants is Janine. Pat lets it slip to Ryan that Janine locked him in the fridge deliberately.

Glenda visits Phil in the Arches, anytime he wants a repeat of last night he just has to call.
