We'll hear a special report on Commonwealth Gold Medalist Azhar Hussain from Pakistan.

Throughout the week on the 大象传媒 Asian Network Language programmes, you can hear exclusive commissioned reports about those who have suffered, lost their homes and lives, and also from those who have survived the floods.

While Azhar Hussain's Pakistani village was submerged in floodwater, he was sent to Islamabad, and continued his training ahead of the Commonwealth Games.

Azhar had little, if any contact with his family during this time. He persevered and won a Gold medal in wrestling.
