Nigel Ogden presents a programme of popular organ recordings devoted to the light classics. We hear The Nutcracker Overture,Copelands Hoe Down, The Nun's Chorus and Monti's famous Czardas played by the Scott Brothers. An archive favourite of the 1812 overture played by Quinten Maclean in the Trocerdero at London's Elephant and Castle during the 1930's also brings exciting news about a possible new lease of life in the new year for the magnificent 4 manuel Wurlitzer there.
