Eygpt has held the second round of what was supposed to be multi-party elections, but the outcome is likely to leave the country as a virtual one party state. In the first round of votes, the governing NDP won almost all of the seats that were decided, and the outlawed opposition movement, the Muslim Brotherhood, did not win any seats. Abdullah Al-Ashaal, a professor of law and politics at the American University in Cairo, tells Dotun there are allegations of widespread fraud.
The Egyptian government is seeking the help of shark experts to find out what's triggered a series of attacks off the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh. A woman died after being attacked by a shark at the weekend, and four others were injured from attacks earlier in the week.
Officials believe one or more Oceanic White Tip sharks is responsible. Kim Holland, a research professor at the University of Hawaii and the leader of the shark research group at the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology, analyses why these attacks are happening.
Plus book sixty six on the virtual bookshelf. This week, it's a three way tie!
