Scotland Yard says it's started a "very serious and detailed investigation" into the trouble which broke out in London last night, as MPs voted to raise university tuition fees in England.

A Rolls-Royce taking the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall to the Royal Variety Performance was attacked with paint and bottles.
