Do you have any sympathy for the EDL? Plus Dr Nafeez Ahmed is in the studio talking about his new book, which explored climate change and conflict.
At1, Do you have any sympathy for the EDL? Tonight's Asian Network documentary gets a founder member of the English Defence League talking to a Muslim about why they want the government to stop Muslim immigration. It's the first time that the EDL have sat down on record to debate with a British Muslim the reasons they think Islam is a threat to this country. Many think they are a racist group because of their views on Islam.
But do you understand where they're coming from? As a Muslim, are you doing anything to counter EDL arguments, or do you feel threatened by them? And if you're not Muslim, tell us where you stand - are the EDL right to take a stand on what they feel is a legitimate threat?
After 2 - We'll be talking to writer Dr Nafeez Ahmed about his book "The Users Guide to the Crisis of Civilization and How to Save It."
Also, according to a 大象传媒 survey, 53% of people say they're now willing to live with their families. So were Asians right all along...? Is living within an extended family the best option?
