A surprise High Court ruling appears to push pension schemes to the front of the line when it comes to claims on the assets of failed companies. We speak to Jennifer Marshall, a partner in the Restructuring Group at the law firm Allen and Overy.
The Bank of England has just concluded that the dominant reason for the drying up of new loans is a lack of supply of credit by the banks, not a lack of demand.
