With lots of people leaving their shopping until the last minute, some retailers are staying open until 10pm tonight hoping for a last minute rush from shoppers delayed by the snow. We talk to Bryan Roberts, director of retail insights at Kantar Retail, about whether this late opening is normal, a sign of the times or a call for desperate measures.
Industrial action by Tube drivers in London will go ahead as planned on Boxing Day after The High Court ruled against their employers, London Underground. Andy Cook, industrial relations adviser from Marshall-James and former HR director at Transport for London joins us to discuss this.
Finally, the Internet is going to come under huge strain this weekend according to broadband providers, TalkTalk. Co-founder of Thinkbroadband.com, Sebastian Lahtinen, explains the problems with Christmas lights affecting the quality of our Internet connections and what changes users will see.
