She starts on the beach at Lyme Regis, where she meets a man who makes seemingly impossible stone sculptures. Next, she travels to the swannery at Abbotsbury, where she feeds the beautiful mute swans.

At Weymouth, Jodie discovers the gruesome remains of a massacre of Vikings, exposed during construction of a new relief road. Jodie ends her journey trying out kite surfing at Exmouth.
