Retailers have just dusted themselves down after the Christmas sales scrum. Today Next becomes the first of the biggest High Street names to report its trading in the run up to Christmas. We speak to Tom MacLennan, head of lender services at the accountancy firm RSM Tenon, who works with troubled businesses and their lenders.
Weekly figures for the number of flu cases in England and Wales are published. We ask David Hutcheson, Managing Director of Glen Abbot which advises companies on developing continuity plans, how businesses should deal with the high level of absences right now owing to flu?
