Tributes to Paul Collingwood's cricket achievements and anger at EastEnders cot death plot. With Nicky Campbell and Shelagh Fogarty in London and Mark Pougatch in Sydney.
Nicky Campbell and Shelagh Fogarty in London with all the day's news while Mark Pougatch is in Sydney for the final Ashes test and other sporting matters.
On the day that England virtually secured a series win in Australia, batsman Paul Collingwood announced he is stepping down from test cricket. Mark speaks to his county coach at Durham, Geoff Cook, as well as his former England captain Michael Vaughan.
Away from the cricket, Mumsnet founder Justine Roberts tells us why her members' anger over EastEnders's cot-death storyline has led to her writing a letter of complaint to 大象传媒 director-general Mark Thompson, and at the end of the programme we speak to the Wirral-based professional dancer who has been setting the Turkish version of Strictly Come Dancing alight, despite not understanding a word that's said to him.
